I haven’t really been inspired to blog much lately. Even my twittering has waned. After getting yet another round of emails asking “are you ok?” I figured I should at least post an update.
Nothing is really wrong,1 I’ve just been busy. Work has been crazy. My union duties are extremely busy right now. The other [...]
An interesting article on whether Prop 8 falls under an amendment requiring only a majority vote (50% + 1) or a revision (2/3’s approval of both houses BEFORE going to voters who must pass with majority vote).
An interesting take and a valid one IMHO even if it appears to be an uphill battle. [...]
My happiness with our new President-elect is overshadowed today. With Prop 8 expected to pass here in CA, Prop 102 in AZ and Prop 2 in Florida passing, I have lost all respect for so called “Christian” hate-mongers. If you’ve been living under a rock, these 3 amendments write discrimination into their respective state constitutions. [...]
Does anyone else find it oddly amusing that the religious F&F’s1 selectively pick and choose disasters to blame on gays? Several of the crazy sites (of which I will never link to here) are blaming the current financial crisis and resulting company failures on gays. Wha-wha-what? Gays caused the financial meltdown in our country?
I [...]
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is getting lots of reaction to the recent gay marriage ruling. Take a moment to let his office know you support equal rights for gays/lesbians.
Please take 10 seconds right now to do it!
To vote in support of the California Supreme Court’s recent decision on gay marriage:

I rarely discuss politics on my blog. Mainly, as it can incite people in all sorts of unexpected ways. Some people take their politics very seriously. Others, could care less. Either way, never a good idea to discuss in an open forum. For the record, I tend to be more liberal socially. I find it [...]
I happen to overhear recently that SF is proposing a tax on businesses that carry and sell sodas. More precisely, Mayor Newsom has proposed the tax and hoping the Board of Sups. will run with it.
On the surface, I don’t really agree with it but after further thought, I’m not so sure. Soda (made w/corn [...]
I rarely weigh in on politics. I often say, ‘there are plenty of fine bloggers out there beating that horse enough‘.
After reading Mark Morford today, I just felt the need to share. If you haven’t yet discovered this linguistical genius of a man, you need to read his current take on [...]
Continuing in my week of sermons and “told ya so’s”. I guess I pissed more than a few people1 off yesterday with my rant about the late (not so great) Jerry Falwell. Not only did I rant here but, I also chimed in all over the blogosphere regarding his welcome demise. [...]
And he does smite his enemies. I know I’m late to the party but I just found out Jerry Falwell is dead. I say good riddance to bad rubbish. What an insidious and evil man he was. I’m not normally someone who would celebrate a death however, the world is a [...]
